I am a 54 yo mother of two young men, now 21 and 18. They never went to school. We unschooled. I blogged about it for a while here. I was married to their dad, a Belgian orgnanic farmer, for 20 years. We separated, pretty amicably, three years ago. Six months later, I was lucky enough to meet the perfect guy, for me, through match.com after only being on there a month, and having dated just three other men. This past July, we got engaged. We live together in a house in Atlanta, GA and have no pets, but are thinking about getting a working cat to calm down (take down) the squirrel population, and the occasional yard rat. We are really into our birds. I teach acting, art and writing to teens at a nearby alternative school.

I'm using this blog as a kind of gratitude journal. It is also a place to talk about some of the tips I've learned along the way, and continue learning, from very wise spiritual masters, other moms, and my own mistakes, about relationship.
